The Piano by Aidan Gibbons

It's been floating around the internet recently, simply called The Piano. It's done by Aidan Gibbons, a 3rd year Irish Digital Animation student who has done other work such as two car ads for Pontiac. It's amazing what someone can do with animation.
Anyway, this short film has a pianist's memories coming to life as he plays. Provided with the achingly haunting music by Yann Tiersen, you see three flashes of the man's life: childhood, soldier life, and finally as a grandparent (but not in that order, surprisingly). I don't want to get into too many details but I recommend watching this piece. Just go to google, type in "Aidan Gibbons" and his site will pop up.
