This is officially my second post because my window froze. Because of a pop-up. Damn pop-ups. I was contemplating what kind of theme I should have for this. I suppose I've got a wide, clean slate because I said "Everyone's a critic" instead of "Everyone's a movie/food/clothes/animal critic."
Christmas Break just started today actually. Exams are over. Enjoying the chance to do absolutely nothing but look for more blogs to sign up to. I believe I've got about seven or so floating out there somewhere. All with perfectly legitimate reasons for existing.
I noticed this odd little thing with pianists, like myself. Or rather a habit we all unconsciously develop when we're playing a piece for someone. For example, when I'm playing something and hit the wrong key, my body unconsciously leans forward towards the sheet music.
As if I've had trouble reading the paper. As if it's not really my fault at all, but the nerve of the sheet music for being so hard to see.
I brought up my realization to my friend while she was playing the piano. She laughed it off which, I'm sure you can guess, inadvertently caused her to hit the wrong key and--voila, her body inexplicably leaned forward. Isn't it always satisfying to have your own hypothesis proven by the very people who doubted you? I'm sure all the great men (and women) out there have cherished that feeling.
Now I think I was wondering on a little theme. I think I'll change it up every post. I've got enough (seven or so, if you remember me mentioning) blogs to unleash my (sometimes) grammatically correct ways. But this entry? This one's a freebie.
